ASHI Instructor-Trainers are part of a network of professional educators and training 
experts who offer Instructor Development Courses through their ASHI authorized Basic or 
Advanced Training Centers. Your ASHI authorized Instructor Trainers have agreed to 
professional standards of conduct and will lead your IDC with competence, quality, and your 
satisfaction foremost in mind. 

* Prerequisites: Instructor candidates are required to present a Student/Provider level card 
(of the program they wish to instruct) before admission to a 2-day Instructor Development 
Course (IDC). Both BLS and ACLS instructor candidates must demonstrate a strong cognitive 
grasp of the subject material and be able to proficiently demonstrate all skills taught in the 
student level program. ASHI Training Centers are independent entities and are not an agent, 
employee, consultant, contractor or legal representative of ASHI.
